How to use

To cure or clean your Pitcher:

1.- Pour the juice of 1 or 2 natural lemons into the Pitcher + 1 tbsp. of ground salt, and exfoliate the entire inside of the Pitcher and the inside of the lid with the salt and lemon juice for a few seconds. Use your fingers for this.

2.- Fill the pitcher with warm water to the top and let the entire mixture (lemon juice + salt + warm water) sit for at least 2 hours.

3.- After 2 hours, discard the previous mixture, and wash your Pitcher with water and/or dish soap and rinse.

4.- Perform this cleaning when you receive it to use it for the first time and then only twice a month to wash it. *Avoid using abrasive sponges.

5.- Once you have cured or washed it, you can start using it!
Fill your Pitcher ONLY WITH WATER before going to sleep and let it sit overnight (minimum 8 hours), and the next day you can drink it with the rest of your family.

* ONLY WATER can be stored in this PITCHER, NO OTHER TYPES OF BEVERAGES.
* It is suggested that each person drink up to 1 Liter of ionized water per day.
* It is suggested to drink ionized water or water stored in copper for 3 months, then rest for 1 month, and repeat this cycle.

To keep in mind

Our products are made of 100% PURE COPPER, and it is NORMAL for copper to darken when it comes into contact with humidity (water). This will happen to your Pitcher only on the inside, as the copper on the inside is pure and not polished like the outside. This darkening or staining is a SIGN OF COPPER PURITY and may even appear the first time you fill your Pitcher with water, but it is NORMAL for them to appear. It does not mean it is dirty or damaged, and we remove them by cleaning it as described above.
