COPPER is a NATURAL PURIFIER and HEALER. It is a metal with oligodynamic effects, meaning it is self-cleaning. Drinking water from a copper vessel is an ancient practice in AYURVEDIC MEDICINE, offering excellent health benefits. When you let water sit in your COPPER PITCHER, a very small amount of ions will dissolve into the water, helping to eliminate fungi, microbes, and bacteria in your body.

How to use

To cure or clean your mugs: 

1.- Pour the juice of ½ or 1 natural lemon into each mug + ½ tsp of ground salt per mug, and scrub the entire inside of each mug with the salt and lemon juice for a few seconds. Use your fingers for this. 

2.- Fill your mugs with warm water to the top and let this mixture (lemon juice + salt + warm water) sit for at least 2 hours.

3.- After 2 hours, discard the mixture and wash your mugs with water and/or dish soap, then rinse.

4.- Perform this cleaning when you use them for the first time, and then only twice a month for washing. *Avoid using abrasive sponges on the outside of the mugs.

5.- Once they are cured or washed, you can start using them! 

*You can use your mugs to store only WATER; before going to sleep, fill your mug with water and let it sit overnight (at least 8 hours). The next day, you can drink it and enjoy the benefits of ionized water.

*If you wish to drink ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES in your copper mugs, you CAN do so, but try not to store your drink for more than 30 minutes in the mug.

To keep in mind

Our mugs are made of 100% PURE COPPER, and it is NORMAL for copper to darken when it comes into contact with moisture (water). This will only happen inside your mugs, as the copper on the inside is pure and not polished like the outside. This darkening or staining is a SIGN OF COPPER'S PURITY and may even appear the first time you fill your mug with water, but it is NORMAL for them to appear. It does not mean it is dirty or damaged, and we remove them by cleaning them as described above twice a month.
